ATV/UTV/Dirt Bike Trails
Explore our trails on your ATV. Explore over 40 miles of trails on your own, or book a guided tour.
Kairos offers high mountain overlooks that look out over the beautiful New River Valley. There are deep canyons perfect for beautiful and secluded hikes, where the only sounds come from nature, and plateaus that provide opportunities for hikers to enjoy and create memories in the outdoors.
Horseback Riding Trails
At Kairos, we know that your four legged friend may or may not have hooves. If you’re a horse enthusiast, Kairos offers over 40 miles of on-site trails that traverse the beautiful mountainous landscape. Go ahead, come to Kairos and take a ride.
Kairos, partnering with Tangent Outfitters, offers a number of river activities, such as boating, fishing and swimming. Have some fun in the New River, one of the oldest and most beautiful rivers in the world!
Discover the Wildlife
The Appalachian Mountains is home to many species of wildlife. While at Kairos, you may get a glimpse of some of our native animals.

The word kairos was an ancient Greek word meaning “opportunity,” “season,” or “fitting time.” An opportunity or a suitable time for an action to take place. When we “seize the day,” we are taking advantage of the kairos given to us.
